Part 1: Most Popular Feng Shui Crystals
Now that you’ve explored the top 8 feng shui crystals for your home and office, you might have noticed I did not include Citrine in my list (even though this is truly powerful crystal). The reason citrine is not on the list is because almost 90% of all stones sold as citrine (especially tumbled stones or feng shui amulets with citrine) are not actually citrine, but heat treated amethyst.
Genuine citrine is more expensive, and is best found from reputable suppliers. So, citrine is not on the list, but now that you know its story, you can look for it. This crystal has a really unique energy, and softer colors too, as compared to the burnt orange tint that the amethyst shows when radiated to look like citrine. In feng shui, genuine citrine is valued as a wealth crystal, along with pyrite. However, I have rarely seen a traditional feng shui cure made, as presented, of genuine citrine, thus I do not recommend buying them, unless you are sure of your choice.
There are certainly many more crystals that can be used for good feng shui energy, all depending on your specific needs. If you are new to feng shui, start with the crystals we just looked into. After you’ve been in the company of crystals for a while, you might feel drawn to many other beautiful and powerful rocks such as tourmaline, smoky quartz, hematite, black onyx, and jasper; to name just a few of the most popular ones.
This list would not be complete without suggestions on where to buy good feng shui crystals and stones. I believe that the best way to choose a crystal or stone is in person; so look for a crystal shop, a new age bookstore, or even a gift shop that carries crystals and stones. Allow yourself uninterrupted time to visit the store and experience their energy, see which crystals you feel drawn to. Finding the best crystal or stone for yourself or your home is often like falling in love, you actually feel the connection.
